Leah was born in Newfoundland, grew up in the small town of Mackenzie, BC and currently lives in Calgary, AB. When Leah wrestles to represent Canada she can make people proud from coast to coast.  Growing up in Northern BC gave Leah the opportunity to excel in many areas. Throughout her high school years she participated in numerous sports and discovered her passion for wrestling. In 2006 she moved to Calgary to join the University of Calgary’s varsity wrestling team. In her first year she earned a spot on the varsity roster and placed second at Canada West. By her second year, she won Junior Nationals, qualifying her for a spot on the Junior World Team.

Leah has had a successful wrestling career both domestically and internationally leading her to pursue a life as an elite athlete.
